The Ability Fair
The Ability Fair is a unique and safe marketplace that showcases the talents, services and products of persons with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to exhibit their skills and promote their work. First organised in 2021, it was held again in 2023 and 2024 in Accra.
Initiated and coordinated by HDMF, the fair lets entrepreneurs with disabilities raise awareness of their capabilities and innovative products for local and international consumers — with the potential to scale up exports. It provides alternative marketing opportunities, reduces social exclusion and increases incomes.
The Ability Fair Marketplace is a clear demonstration that disability is not inability — and that we leave nobody out or behind.
